1. Maintain a clean and safe environment for patients and staff through regular cleaning and disinfection of designated areas and equipment.
2. Follow established policies and procedures for proper handling and disposal of hazardous materials.
3. Monitor and report any maintenance or safety issues to the appropriate department.
4. Assist with inventory management and ordering of supplies to ensure adequate stock levels.
5. Train and mentor new environmental services aides on proper cleaning techniques and procedures.
