1. Perform daily cleaning tasks in patient rooms, common areas, and other designated areas as assigned.
2. Follow established cleaning procedures and protocols to maintain a clean and safe environment for patients and staff.
3. Use proper cleaning agents and equipment to ensure effective and efficient cleaning.
4. Monitor and replenish supplies in patient rooms and common areas.
5. Attend to urgent cleaning needs as they arise, such as spills or accidents.
6. Report any maintenance or safety concerns to the appropriate personnel.
7. Maintain confidentiality and adhere to all HIPAA guidelines when handling patient information.
8. Practice infection control measures to prevent the spread of germs and diseases.
9. Adhere to all safety and health regulations and policies.
10. Work closely with other members of the environmental services team to ensure a smooth and efficient workflow.
11. Communicate effectively with patients and their families to ensure their satisfaction and address any concerns.
12. Attend and participate in departmental meetings and trainings as required.
