Environmental Service Aide

1. Perform daily cleaning tasks, such as mopping, dusting, and disinfecting, in assigned areas of the facility according to established procedures and protocols.
2. Ensure that all patient rooms, common areas, and offices are maintained in a clean and orderly manner.
3. Restock and replenish supplies, such as soap, towels, and toilet paper, in designated areas.
4. Monitor and maintain inventory levels of cleaning and disinfecting products, notifying supervisor when supplies are running low.
5. Follow all safety protocols and procedures, including properly handling and disposing of hazardous materials.
6. Collaborate with other members of the environmental services team to ensure timely completion of tasks and maintain a high standard of cleanliness throughout the facility.
7. Respond to immediate cleaning needs and requests from patients, visitors, and staff in a prompt and courteous manner.
8. Report any maintenance or safety issues to the appropriate department or supervisor.
9. Follow infection control protocols to prevent the spread of germs and maintain a safe and healthy environment for patients and staff.
10. Attend and participate in departmental meetings and training sessions as required.
11. Maintain a positive and professional attitude while interacting with patients, visitors, and staff.
12. Adhere to all company policies and procedures, including confidentiality and HIPAA regulations.
13. Continuously seek opportunities for improvement and suggest ways to enhance the efficiency and effectiveness of environmental services.
14. Perform other duties as assigned by supervisor or manager.
