  1. Conduct outreach and establish relationships with medical professionals and potential patients to promote Encompass Health's rehabilitation services.
  2. Serve as the primary point of contact for medical professionals and potential patients seeking rehabilitation services.
  3. Educate medical professionals and potential patients on the benefits and services offered by Encompass Health.
  4. Facilitate the admission process for potential patients by coordinating with medical professionals and internal teams.
  5. Conduct comprehensive assessments of potential patients to determine their rehabilitation needs.
  6. Collaborate with the interdisciplinary team to develop individualized treatment plans for patients.
  7. Serve as a liaison between medical professionals, patients, and Encompass Health's internal teams.
  8. Provide ongoing support and communication to medical professionals and patients throughout the rehabilitation process.
  9. Monitor and track patient progress, and communicate updates to medical professionals and internal teams.
  10. Stay up-to-date on industry trends and developments in rehabilitation services.
  11. Maintain accurate and detailed records of all interactions with medical professionals and patients.
  12. Uphold Encompass Health's standards of excellence in patient care and customer service.
  13. Participate in team meetings and training sessions to enhance skills and knowledge.
  14. Adhere to all company policies, procedures, and regulatory requirements.
  15. Maintain confidentiality of patient information and adhere to HIPAA regulations.

Job Qualifications

  • Bachelor's Degree In Healthcare-Related Field: A Clinical Rehab Liaison Should Have At Least A Bachelor's Degree In A Healthcare-Related Field, Such As Nursing, Physical Therapy, Occupational Therapy, Or Social Work. This Educational Background Provides The Necessary Knowledge And Understanding Of Medical Terminology, Procedures, And Protocols.

  • Experience In Rehabilitation Setting: Prior Experience Working In A Rehabilitation Setting Is Highly Desirable For A Clinical Rehab Liaison. This Experience Helps In Understanding The Needs Of Patients And Collaborating With The Multidisciplinary Team To Develop Effective Treatment Plans.

  • Strong Communication And Interpersonal Skills: As A Liaison Between Patients, Families, And Healthcare Professionals, Excellent Communication And Interpersonal Skills Are Crucial. A Clinical Rehab Liaison Should Be Able To Communicate Effectively, Build Relationships, And Collaborate With Others To Achieve The Best Outcomes For Patients.

  • Knowledge Of Insurance And Reimbursement Processes: The Role Of A Clinical Rehab Liaison Involves Advocating For Patients And Their Families To Ensure They Receive Appropriate And Timely Care. This Requires Knowledge Of Insurance And Reimbursement Processes To Navigate And Resolve Any Issues That May Arise.

  • Ability To Work Independently And Problem-Solve: A Clinical Rehab Liaison Often Works Independently, Making Critical Decisions And Addressing Complex Issues On Behalf Of Patients. It Is Essential To Have Strong Problem-Solving Skills And The Ability To Work Autonomously To Ensure The Best Possible Outcomes For Patients.
