- Review and assess patient medical records to determine eligibility for admission.
- Communicate with patients and their families to provide information about the admission process and address any concerns or questions.
- Collaborate with healthcare providers to gather necessary information and coordinate care plans for patients.
- Maintain accurate and up-to-date records of patient admissions and ensure compliance with all regulatory guidelines.
- Conduct thorough assessments of patients' medical history, current condition, and care needs to determine appropriate level of care.
- Coordinate with insurance companies to verify coverage and obtain necessary authorizations for admission.
- Serve as a liaison between patients, families, and healthcare providers to ensure effective communication and continuity of care.
- Collaborate with the interdisciplinary team to develop and implement individualized care plans for patients.
- Stay updated on industry trends and best practices to continuously improve the admissions process and patient experience.
- Provide support and resources to patients and families throughout the admission process.
- Adhere to all company policies and procedures to ensure high-quality care and compliance with regulatory standards.
- Participate in team meetings and contribute ideas for improving processes and enhancing the patient experience.
- Maintain confidentiality of patient information and ensure the security of all medical records.
Bachelor's Degree In Healthcare Administration, Nursing, Or A Related Field.
Minimum Of 2-3 Years Experience In Healthcare Admissions, Preferably In A Clinical Setting.
Knowledge Of Insurance Verification Processes And Medicare/Medicaid Regulations.
Strong Communication And Interpersonal Skills To Effectively Interact With Patients, Families, And Healthcare Professionals.
Ability To Multitask And Work Efficiently In A Fast-Paced Environment, With Strong Attention To Detail And Accuracy.
