As an Admissions Representative, you will play a vital role in welcoming and guiding patients and their families through the admissions process, ensuring a smooth and seamless transition into our facilities. We are looking for individuals with exceptional communication and customer service skills, as well as a strong understanding of healthcare processes.   1. Greet and welcome patients and their families to Encompass Health facilities.
  2. Explain the admissions process and provide information about services offered.
  3. Assist patients and families in completing necessary paperwork and obtaining required documentation.
  4. Communicate with healthcare professionals to obtain medical records and necessary information for admissions.
  5. Answer questions and address concerns from patients and families about the admissions process.
  6. Collaborate with other team members to ensure a smooth and efficient admissions process.
  7. Maintain accurate and organized records of patient admissions.
  8. Follow all HIPAA guidelines and maintain confidentiality of patient information.
  9. Provide exceptional customer service to patients and their families.
  10. Continuously update and maintain knowledge of healthcare processes and regulations.
  11. Handle difficult or sensitive situations with empathy and professionalism.
  12. Collaborate with insurance companies to verify coverage and obtain necessary authorizations.
  13. Maintain a positive and professional demeanor at all times.
  14. Act as a liaison between patients, families, and healthcare professionals.
  15. Attend meetings and training sessions to stay updated on company policies and procedures.
