We are looking for a talented Storage Engineer to join our team here at Emory University. In this role, you will be responsible for maintaining and optimizing our storage infrastructure to ensure high availability and performance. You will also be responsible for developing, testing and implementing backup and disaster recovery solutions.The ideal candidate for this position has a Bachelor's degree in computer science, engineering or a related field, as well as several years of experience working in a storage engineering role. You must have a strong understanding of storage technologies, including SAN, NAS, Fibre Channel, iSCSI, and FCIP. You should also be familiar with disaster recovery principles and have experience in scripting, automation and system integration.You should be a highly organized and motivated individual with excellent communication and problem solving skills. You should also be a self-starter, capable of working independently and as part of a team.
