Job Description

Are you an experienced administrative professional looking for a dynamic and fast-paced work environment? Emory University is currently seeking a Senior Administrative Assistant (ETS) to join our team on a temporary basis. In this role, you will provide high-level support to the Executive Team Services (ETS) department, contributing to the overall success of our university. We are seeking a detail-oriented and organized individual with excellent communication and problem-solving skills.   1. Provide high-level administrative support to the Executive Team Services (ETS) department at Emory University.
  2. Assist in the overall success and functioning of the university by contributing to the efficient operations of the ETS department.
  3. Maintain and organize departmental records, documents, and correspondence.
  4. Schedule and coordinate meetings, appointments, and travel arrangements for senior leadership.
  5. Prepare and distribute agendas, meeting materials, and minutes for departmental meetings.
  6. Serve as a liaison between the ETS department and other departments within the university.
  7. Handle incoming and outgoing communications, including emails, phone calls, and mail, in a professional and timely manner.
  8. Collaborate with other administrative professionals to ensure smooth and effective operations of the university.
  9. Conduct research, compile data, and prepare reports as needed.
  10. Assist with budget management and financial tracking for the ETS department.
  11. Proactively identify and solve problems, and effectively communicate any issues or concerns to senior leadership.
  12. Maintain confidentiality of sensitive information and handle it with discretion.
  13. Attend and participate in staff meetings and training sessions as required.
  14. Serve as a positive representative of Emory University and uphold its values and mission.
  15. Other duties as assigned by the ETS department or university leadership.

Job Qualifications
  • Proficiency In Microsoft Office Suite And Other Relevant Software Programs.

  • Minimum Of 5 Years Experience As An Administrative Assistant, Preferably In A Higher Education Or Research Setting.

  • Excellent Organizational And Time-Management Skills, With The Ability To Prioritize Tasks And Handle Multiple Projects Simultaneously.

  • Strong Communication Skills, Both Written And Verbal, With The Ability To Interact Professionally With Faculty, Staff, And Students.

  • High Attention To Detail And Accuracy, With The Ability To Maintain Confidentiality And Handle Sensitive Information With Discretion.
