- Train and educate security personnel on safety protocols, emergency procedures, and campus policies.
- Coordinate with local law enforcement and emergency services during security incidents or emergencies.
- Maintain and manage security equipment, such as cameras, alarms, and access control systems.
- Ensure compliance with relevant laws, regulations, and university policies related to campus security.
- Communicate effectively with all levels of the organization, including senior leadership, to provide updates and recommendations on security matters.
Extensive Experience In Security Operations: A Senior Security Officer At Emory University Must Have A Minimum Of 5 Years Of Experience In Security Operations, Preferably In An Educational Or Institutional Setting.
Strong Leadership Skills: The Role Of A Senior Security Officer Involves Supervising A Team Of Security Personnel, Making Critical Decisions, And Liaising With Various Departments And Agencies.
