  1. Develop and implement strategic investment plans and policies for Emory University's endowment and other investment portfolios.
  2. Monitor and analyze market trends, economic conditions, and investment opportunities to make informed decisions and optimize portfolio performance.
  3. Collaborate with various stakeholders, including senior leadership, investment committees, and external partners, to ensure alignment of investment strategies with the university's goals and objectives.
  4. Lead and manage a team of investment professionals to execute investment strategies and achieve targeted returns.
  5. Conduct thorough due diligence on potential investment opportunities and present recommendations to senior leadership and investment committees.
  6. Prepare and present regular reports on portfolio performance, risk management, and market updates to stakeholders.
  7. Continuously evaluate and improve investment processes and procedures to increase efficiency and effectiveness.
  8. Stay updated on industry best practices and regulatory requirements to ensure compliance and mitigate risks.
  9. Foster a culture of collaboration, innovation, and continuous learning within the portfolio management team.
  10. Act as a liaison between the university and external investment partners, maintaining strong relationships and representing Emory's interests.
  11. Develop and manage budgets and oversee the allocation of resources for the portfolio management team.
  12. Serve as a subject matter expert and provide guidance and mentorship to junior team members.

Job Qualifications
  • A Minimum Of 8-10 Years Of Experience In Portfolio Management, Preferably In A Higher Education Or Non-Profit Setting.

  • Strong Knowledge Of Financial Analysis And Forecasting Techniques, With The Ability To Develop And Implement Effective Investment Strategies.

  • Excellent Leadership And Management Skills, With A Proven Track Record Of Successfully Managing A Team And Multiple Projects Simultaneously.

  • In-Depth Understanding Of Investment Principles And Practices, Including Asset Allocation, Risk Management, And Compliance.

  • Advanced Degree In Finance, Business, Or A Related Field, With Relevant Certifications Such As Cfa, Caia, Or Frm Preferred.
