Job Description

Welcome to Emory University's Rollins School of Public Health, where we are dedicated to improving the health of communities both locally and globally. We are currently seeking a highly skilled Senior Administrative Assistant to join our team and support the daily operations of our esteemed school. As a Senior Administrative Assistant, you will play a crucial role in ensuring the smooth and efficient functioning of our school, working closely with faculty, staff, and students.   1. Provide administrative support to faculty, staff, and students in the Rollins School of Public Health.
  2. Manage and maintain calendars, schedules, and appointments for senior faculty members.
  3. Organize and coordinate meetings, conferences, and other events.
  4. Prepare and distribute meeting agendas, minutes, and other necessary materials.
  5. Assist with budget management and financial tracking for the school.
  6. Create and maintain electronic and paper filing systems for efficient record-keeping.
  7. Develop and implement processes and procedures to improve efficiency and effectiveness within the school.
  8. Serve as the first point of contact for visitors, students, and faculty, providing excellent customer service and representing the school in a professional manner.
  9. Coordinate travel arrangements and accommodations for faculty and staff.
  10. Manage and reconcile expense reports for faculty and staff.
  11. Collaborate with other administrative assistants to ensure seamless operations across the school.
  12. Assist with special projects and initiatives as needed.
  13. Act as a liaison between the school and external stakeholders such as vendors and partners.
  14. Maintain confidentiality and handle sensitive information with discretion.
  15. Stay updated on industry trends and developments in public health to provide informed administrative support.
  16. Train and supervise junior administrative staff as needed.
  17. Uphold the values and mission of Emory University and the Rollins School of Public Health in all interactions and tasks.

Job Qualifications
  • Bachelor's Degree In Business Administration, Public Health, Or A Related Field

  • Minimum Of 5 Years Of Experience In Administrative Support Roles, Preferably In A University Or Healthcare Setting

  • Proficiency In Microsoft Office Suite And Other Relevant Software Programs

  • Excellent Communication Skills, Both Written And Verbal, With The Ability To Interact With Diverse Stakeholders

  • Strong Organizational And Time-Management Skills, With The Ability To Prioritize And Manage Multiple Tasks Simultaneously.
