  • Provide personalized academic advising to students, helping them develop and achieve their academic goals.
  • Utilize knowledge of university policies, procedures, and resources to guide students in making informed decisions about their academic journey.
  • Collaborate with faculty and staff to ensure a holistic approach to student success and address any academic concerns or challenges.
  • Develop and maintain a thorough understanding of academic programs, requirements, and curriculum to effectively advise students.
  • Stay updated on current trends and best practices in academic advising and higher education to continuously improve advising services.
  • Serve as a mentor and advocate for students, promoting their personal and academic growth.
  • Assist in the development and implementation of academic support programs and workshops for students.
  • Maintain accurate and confidential student records and document all advising interactions.
  • Communicate with students regularly through various channels, such as email, phone, and in-person meetings.
  • Participate in professional development opportunities to enhance advising skills and knowledge.
  • Collaborate with other academic advisors and staff to ensure consistency and efficiency in advising practices.
  • Serve on university committees and participate in campus events to promote academic advising and student success.
  • Adhere to the university's code of ethics and maintain confidentiality of student information.

Job Qualifications
