- Oversee post-award administration for research projects within the School of Medicine's Pediatrics Research Administration Services.
- Manage and monitor grant funds, ensuring compliance with grant requirements and university policies.
- Prepare and submit financial reports to funding agencies and internal stakeholders.
- Review and approve expenditures, ensuring they are appropriate and allowable according to grant guidelines.
- Serve as a liaison between principal investigators, funding agencies, and university departments.
- Provide guidance and support to faculty and staff on grant-related matters.
- Maintain accurate and up-to-date records of grant activity and financial transactions.
- Monitor project timelines and ensure deadlines are met.
- Collaborate with other research administration teams to streamline processes and improve efficiency.
- Stay current on federal regulations and university policies related to research administration.
- Assist with the development and submission of grant proposals.
- Participate in training and professional development opportunities to enhance knowledge and skills.
- Contribute to the development and improvement of research administration policies and procedures.
- Continuously assess and improve processes to ensure compliance and efficiency.
- Maintain confidentiality and handle sensitive information with discretion.
Knowledge Of Federal And Non-Federal Funding Regulations And Compliance Requirements.
Bachelor's Degree In Business Administration, Finance, Or A Related Field.
At Least 3-5 Years Of Experience In Post-Award Grant Management, Preferably In A Healthcare Or Academic Setting.
Strong Analytical And Problem-Solving Skills, With The Ability To Interpret Complex Financial Data And Make Recommendations.
Excellent Communication And Interpersonal Skills, With The Ability To Work Effectively With Diverse Stakeholders Including Faculty, Staff, And External Funding Agencies.
