  1. Provide mental health services: The primary responsibility of this role is to provide essential mental health services to students at Emory University, including counseling, assessment, and crisis intervention.

  7. Maintain accurate records: The psychologist will be responsible for maintaining accurate and confidential records of all client interactions and treatment plans.
  8. Provide crisis intervention: As a member of the crisis response team, the psychologist will be expected to provide timely and effective crisis intervention services to students in need.
  9. Stay updated on best practices: The successful candidate will be expected to stay updated on current research and best practices in the field of mental health to ensure the provision of high-quality services.
  10. Participate in departmental activities: The psychologist will be expected to actively participate in departmental activities, such as staff meetings, trainings, and outreach events.
  11. Uphold ethical standards: The psychologist must adhere to ethical and professional standards in all aspects of their work, including maintaining client confidentiality and following relevant laws and regulations.

Job Qualifications
  • A Doctoral Degree In Psychology Or A Related Field From An Accredited University.

  • A Current And Valid License To Practice As A Psychologist In The State Of Georgia.

  • Extensive Experience Providing Counseling And Psychological Services In A University Or College Setting.

  • Strong Knowledge Of Evidence-Based Therapeutic Techniques And Interventions For A Diverse Student Population.

  • Excellent Communication And Interpersonal Skills, With The Ability To Collaborate With Other Campus Departments And Community Resources.
