- Develop and implement simulation-based training programs for students, faculty, and staff at Emory University.
- Coordinate and oversee all aspects of simulation operations, including scheduling, logistics, and equipment maintenance.
- Collaborate with faculty and staff to identify simulation training needs and develop appropriate programs to address them.
- Serve as the main point of contact for simulation-related inquiries and provide excellent customer service to all stakeholders.
- Ensure that all simulation activities are conducted in compliance with university policies and safety regulations.
- Manage and maintain simulation equipment and resources, including inventory management and troubleshooting.
- Train and supervise simulation technicians and volunteers, providing guidance and support as needed.
- Conduct regular evaluations of simulation programs and make recommendations for improvements as necessary.
- Stay current on best practices and advancements in simulation technology and incorporate them into training programs.
- Communicate and collaborate with other departments and organizations to promote the use of simulation in education and training.
- Maintain accurate records and documentation of simulation activities, including participant evaluations and program outcomes.
- Attend relevant conferences, workshops, and training opportunities to enhance knowledge and skills in simulation operations.
- Participate in departmental meetings and contribute to the development of strategic plans for simulation operations.
- Uphold the values of inclusivity and diversity in all aspects of simulation operations.
- Other duties as assigned by the supervisor.
Excellent Communication And Interpersonal Skills, With The Ability To Work Collaboratively With Faculty, Staff, And Students From Diverse Backgrounds.
Minimum Of A Bachelor's Degree In Healthcare Administration, Education, Or A Related Field.
At Least 3 Years Of Experience In Program Coordination Or Operations In A Healthcare Simulation Setting.
Strong Organizational And Project Management Skills, With The Ability To Prioritize And Multitask In A Fast-Paced Environment.
Familiarity With Simulation Technology And Equipment, As Well As Knowledge Of Best Practices In Simulation Operations.
