  1. Develop and implement innovative programs and services that enhance the library experience for students, faculty, and staff.
  2. Collaborate with various departments and stakeholders to identify programming needs and opportunities.
  3. Organize and manage all aspects of program planning, including budgeting, scheduling, and promotion.
  4. Recruit and coordinate with guest speakers, presenters, and other outside partners for program events.
  5. Conduct research and stay up-to-date on current trends and best practices in library programming.
  6. Communicate effectively with diverse audiences to promote and market programs and services.
  7. Maintain accurate records and data related to program attendance and feedback.
  8. Evaluate and assess the effectiveness of programs and make recommendations for improvement.
  9. Work closely with the library team to integrate programming into overall library goals and initiatives.
  10. Serve as a liaison between the library and external organizations for collaborative programming opportunities.
  11. Train and supervise student workers or volunteers assisting with program implementation.
  12. Stay informed on library policies and procedures and ensure programs adhere to them.
  13. Attend and participate in staff meetings, training sessions, and professional development opportunities.
  14. Continuously seek ways to improve and expand library programming to meet the evolving needs of the community.
  15. Represent the library and its programs at campus events and conferences.

Job Qualifications
  • Bachelor's Degree In Library Science, Education, Or A Related Field.

  • 3-5 Years Of Experience In Program Coordination, Preferably In A Library Or Educational Setting.

  • Excellent Organizational And Project Management Skills, With The Ability To Manage Multiple Tasks And Deadlines.

  • Strong Communication And Interpersonal Skills, With The Ability To Work Collaboratively With Staff, Faculty, And Students.

  • Knowledge Of Library Services And Resources, As Well As Experience With Event Planning And Budget Management.
