- Collaborate with faculty, students, and staff to develop and implement programs and events that align with Emory University's mission of academic excellence and diversity and inclusion.
- Serve as a point of contact for students, faculty, and staff regarding program and event logistics, including scheduling, room reservations, and catering.
- Develop and maintain relationships with external partners and vendors to secure resources and support for programs and events.
- Create and manage program budgets, including tracking expenses and reconciling accounts.
- Utilize data and feedback to evaluate the success of programs and events and make recommendations for improvements.
- Coordinate and facilitate meetings with stakeholders to ensure effective communication and collaboration.
- Communicate program and event details to students, faculty, and staff through various channels, such as email, social media, and website.
- Manage program registration and attendance, including creating and distributing registration materials and tracking RSVPs.
- Oversee and train student volunteers or staff to assist with program and event logistics and execution.
- Maintain accurate and up-to-date records of program and event information, including attendance, evaluations, and feedback.
- Stay informed about current trends and best practices in student development and program coordination to continually improve the quality of programs and events at Emory University.
- Represent Emory University and the Office of Student Life at relevant meetings and events, both on and off campus.
- Adhere to all university policies and procedures, as well as applicable federal and state laws, in the planning and execution of programs and events.
- Perform other duties as assigned by the supervisor to support the overall goals and objectives of the Office of Student Life and Emory University.
Strong Organizational And Project Management Skills, With The Ability To Handle Multiple Tasks And Prioritize Effectively.
Bachelor's Degree In A Relevant Field Such As Education, Business Administration, Or Public Administration.
Minimum Of 3 Years Of Experience In Program Coordination, Preferably In A Higher Education Setting.
Excellent Communication And Interpersonal Skills, With The Ability To Work Collaboratively With Diverse Stakeholders Including Faculty, Staff, And Students.
