Job Description

Emory University is seeking a driven and passionate individual to join our team as a Program Associate for our Mental Health Program within the Public Policy department. In this role, you will have the opportunity to make a meaningful impact on the mental health landscape of our community through developing and implementing innovative programs and policies. We are looking for a highly organized and detail-oriented individual with a strong background in public policy and a deep understanding of mental health issues.   1. Develop and implement innovative programs and policies to address mental health issues within the community.
  2. Conduct research and gather data to inform program and policy development.
  3. Collaborate with internal and external stakeholders to ensure effective program implementation and policy implementation.
  4. Monitor and evaluate program effectiveness and make recommendations for improvements.
  5. Stay current on mental health trends, research, and best practices to inform program development and policy recommendations.
  6. Develop and manage program budgets and resources.
  7. Communicate program updates and progress to stakeholders, including senior leadership.
  8. Provide support to program participants and/or clients as needed.
  9. Assist with the planning and execution of events, workshops, and trainings related to mental health.
  10. Maintain accurate records and documentation related to program activities.
  11. Represent the program and department at meetings, conferences, and other events.
  12. Collaborate with other departments and organizations to leverage resources and expand program reach.
  13. Stay informed about relevant laws and regulations related to mental health and ensure program compliance.
  14. Support the overall mission and goals of Emory University and the Public Policy department.
  15. Maintain confidentiality and handle sensitive information with discretion.

Job Qualifications
  • Bachelor's Degree In Public Policy, Public Health, Or A Related Field.

  • Minimum Of 2 Years Of Experience In Program Development And Implementation, Preferably In The Field Of Mental Health Policy.

  • Strong Understanding Of Mental Health Policy And Current Issues In The Field.

  • Excellent Written And Verbal Communication Skills, With The Ability To Effectively Communicate With Diverse Stakeholders.

  • Demonstrated Ability To Work Independently And As Part Of A Team, With Strong Organizational And Project Management Skills.
