
Procurement Coordinator, Overseas Operations

- Coordinating and managing the procurement process for all overseas operations of Emory University.
- Ensuring compliance with university policies and procedures as well as local laws and regulations.
- Collaborating with various departments and teams to ensure timely and efficient procurement of goods and services.
- Developing and maintaining relationships with vendors and suppliers to negotiate favorable terms and pricing.
- Conducting market research and analysis to identify cost-saving opportunities and improve procurement processes.
- Creating and maintaining purchase orders, contracts, and other procurement documents.
- Tracking and monitoring budget and expenses related to overseas operations procurement.
- Ensuring timely delivery of goods and services to meet the needs of overseas operations.
- Maintaining accurate and up-to-date records of all procurement activities.
- Providing support and assistance to overseas operations staff regarding procurement-related matters.
- Keeping abreast of industry trends and best practices in procurement and international operations.
- Collaborating with the finance department to reconcile procurement expenses and resolve any discrepancies.
- Continuously evaluating and improving procurement processes to increase efficiency and reduce costs.
- Adhering to ethical standards and promoting a culture of inclusivity and diversity within the university.
- Representing the university in a professional and positive manner at all times.
Bachelor's Degree In Supply Chain Management, Business Administration, Or A Related Field.
Minimum Of 3 Years Experience In Procurement And Supply Chain Management, Preferably In An International Or Global Setting.
Strong Knowledge Of International Trade And Logistics, Including Customs And Import/Export Regulations.
Excellent Communication And Negotiation Skills, With The Ability To Build Relationships And Work Effectively With Diverse Stakeholders.
Proficiency In Procurement Software And Systems, Such As Sap Or Oracle, And Proficiency In Microsoft Excel.
