  1. Coordinate and manage the procurement process for Emory University's international programs, ensuring timely and efficient acquisition of goods and services.
  2. Maintain up-to-date knowledge of global procurement regulations and procedures to ensure compliance with international laws and policies.
  3. Liaise with vendors and suppliers to negotiate contracts, pricing, and delivery terms for goods and services needed for international programs.
  4. Develop and maintain relationships with international suppliers to ensure reliable and cost-effective procurement options.
  5. Collaborate with various departments within the university, including finance, logistics, and program management, to identify procurement needs and priorities.
  6. Monitor and track procurement activities, including purchase orders, invoices, and payments, to ensure accuracy and timely processing.
  7. Conduct market research and analysis to identify potential suppliers and evaluate their products and services.
  8. Prepare and present reports on procurement activities, budget, and cost-saving initiatives to the management team.
  9. Identify and implement process improvements to streamline procurement procedures and increase efficiency.
  10. Provide support and guidance to program staff on procurement policies, procedures, and best practices.
  11. Ensure all procurement activities are carried out in accordance with ethical and sustainability standards.
  12. Maintain accurate and organized procurement records and documentation.
  13. Stay updated on industry trends and best practices in procurement to enhance the university's global operations.
  14. Represent the university in procurement-related meetings and conferences.
  15. Collaborate with cross-functional teams to identify and resolve any procurement-related issues.

Job Qualifications
  • Bachelor's Degree In Supply Chain Management, Business Administration, Or A Related Field.

  • Minimum Of 3-5 Years Of Experience In Procurement Or Supply Chain Management, Preferably In An International Setting.

  • Knowledge Of And Experience With International Procurement Regulations And Procedures.

  • Strong Communication And Negotiation Skills, With The Ability To Work Effectively With Diverse Stakeholders.

  • Proficiency In Microsoft Office And Procurement Software, With The Ability To Analyze And Interpret Data.
