- Provide guidance and support to faculty members in navigating the research administration process at Emory University.
- Stay up-to-date with the latest policies and regulations related to research administration and communicate them effectively to faculty and staff.
- Assist faculty in navigating research funding opportunities and grant applications.
- Serve as a liaison between faculty, staff, and external agencies to facilitate the smooth execution of research projects.
- Review and analyze grant proposals and budgets to ensure compliance with university and sponsor guidelines.
- Maintain accurate and organized records of all research-related documents and activities.
- Collaborate with other departments and offices within the university to ensure efficient and effective research administration processes.
- Conduct training sessions and workshops for faculty and staff on research administration processes and procedures.
- Act as a resource for faculty and staff regarding research compliance and ethical standards.
- Continuously seek ways to improve and streamline research administration processes at Emory University.
Bachelor's Degree In A Relevant Field Such As Business Administration, Finance, Or Research Administration.
At Least 3 Years Of Experience In A Research Administration Role, Preferably At A University Or Academic Medical Center.
Knowledge Of Federal Regulations And Policies Related To Research Funding, Including Nih And Nsf Guidelines.
Strong Communication And Interpersonal Skills, With The Ability To Collaborate Effectively With Researchers, Administrators, And External Stakeholders.
Experience With Research Administration Systems And Software, Such As Cayuse, Infoed, And Era Commons.
