  6. Collaborate with marketing and communications team to develop integrated campaigns.
  7. Assist with social media content creation and management to promote media coverage.
  8. Participate in brainstorming sessions and contribute creative ideas for media strategies.
  9. Assist with media events and press conferences.
  10. Conduct media outreach and follow up with key contacts.
  11. Assist with media training for Emory University spokespersons.
  12. Attend meetings and take detailed notes to support the media relations team.
  13. Research and stay up-to-date on current media industry trends and best practices.
  14. Help maintain media databases and contact lists.
  15. Assist with other marketing and communications projects as needed.

  • Strong Communication Skills: A Successful Media Relations Intern Should Possess Excellent Written And Verbal Communication Skills, As They Will Be Responsible For Drafting Press Releases, Pitching Stories To Media Outlets, And Communicating With Various Stakeholders.
