  1. Develop and implement operational due diligence and risk management processes and procedures.
  2. Lead and manage a team of professionals to ensure effective execution of due diligence and risk management activities.
  3. Conduct thorough risk assessments of potential and existing investment opportunities.
  4. Identify and evaluate potential risks associated with investment strategies and recommend appropriate risk mitigation strategies.
  5. Develop and maintain relationships with various investment managers and external partners to stay informed of industry trends and best practices.
  6. Monitor and assess the performance of investment managers and their compliance with due diligence and risk management requirements.
  7. Prepare and present reports on due diligence and risk management activities to senior management and investment committees.
  8. Collaborate with other departments, such as legal and compliance, to ensure alignment of due diligence and risk management processes with overall organizational goals.
  9. Stay up-to-date on industry regulations and best practices related to operational due diligence and risk management.
  10. Participate in the development and implementation of new investment strategies and products, providing insight and recommendations on potential risks and due diligence requirements.
  11. Train and mentor team members to ensure a high level of expertise and proficiency in due diligence and risk management processes.
  12. Continuously evaluate and improve operational due diligence and risk management processes to ensure efficiency and effectiveness.
  13. Act as a subject matter expert and provide guidance and support to other departments and stakeholders on operational due diligence and risk management matters.
  14. Maintain a strong understanding of Emory's investment objectives and ensure all due diligence and risk management activities align with them.

Job Qualifications
  • Bachelor's Degree In Finance, Business Administration, Or A Related Field.

  • Minimum Of 5 Years Of Experience In Investment Management, Risk Assessment, Or Due Diligence.

  • Strong Understanding Of Financial Markets And Investment Strategies.

  • Experience In Conducting Operational Due Diligence And Risk Assessments For Various Investment Products And Strategies.

  • Excellent Communication And Leadership Skills, With The Ability To Manage A Team And Effectively Communicate Findings To Senior Management.
