As the Lead Applications Developer/Analyst, you will play a crucial role in designing, developing, and maintaining applications that support the university's operations and academic functions.   1. Design and develop innovative and efficient applications that meet the needs of the university's operations and academic functions.
  2. Lead a team of developers and analysts, providing guidance and mentorship to ensure the successful delivery of projects.
  3. Collaborate with cross-functional teams to gather requirements, design solutions, and implement new features and enhancements.
  4. Conduct regular code reviews and provide constructive feedback to team members to ensure high-quality code is delivered.
  5. Stay current with industry trends and best practices in software development, and incorporate them into the team's processes and procedures.
  6. Troubleshoot and resolve complex technical issues related to application development and implementation.
  7. Develop and maintain technical documentation and user guides for applications.
  8. Communicate and collaborate with stakeholders to understand their needs and provide timely updates on project progress.
  9. Ensure compliance with security and privacy regulations in all aspects of application development.
  10. Conduct regular performance evaluations of team members and provide feedback to improve their skills and performance.
  11. Participate in project planning and resource allocation to ensure efficient use of resources.
  12. Continuously monitor and improve the performance, reliability, and scalability of applications.
  13. Identify and implement process improvements to enhance the efficiency and effectiveness of the development team.
  14. Act as a subject matter expert and provide technical guidance to other team members as needed.
  15. Act as a liaison between the development team and other departments within the university to ensure seamless communication and collaboration.

Job Qualifications
  • Bachelor's Degree In Computer Science Or A Related Field.

  • Minimum Of 5 Years Of Experience In Application Development And Analysis.

  • Experience With Project Management And Leading A Team Of Developers.
