- Develop and implement educational programs and initiatives to promote public health and well-being in the community and beyond.
- Collaborate with other members of the Rollins School of Public Health team to plan and execute health education events and activities.
- Conduct research and stay up-to-date on current public health issues, trends, and best practices in health education.
- Utilize various methods and tools, such as presentations, workshops, and social media, to effectively communicate health education messages to diverse audiences.
- Develop and distribute educational materials, such as brochures, fact sheets, and infographics, to support health education initiatives.
- Build relationships and partnerships with community organizations, healthcare providers, and other stakeholders to expand the reach and impact of health education efforts.
- Assess the effectiveness of health education programs and make recommendations for improvement based on evaluation results.
- Keep accurate records and reports of health education activities and outcomes.
- Support the overall mission and goals of the Rollins School of Public Health and Emory University by promoting a culture of health and well-being.
- Adhere to ethical and professional standards in all aspects of health education delivery.
- Participate in professional development opportunities to enhance knowledge and skills in the field of health education.
- Maintain a positive and collaborative working relationship with colleagues and team members.
- Represent the Rollins School of Public Health at Emory University in a professional and positive manner at all times.
Bachelor's Degree In Public Health, Health Education, Or A Related Field.
Minimum Of 2 Years Experience In Health Education, Preferably In A University Or Community Setting.
Knowledge Of Current Public Health Issues And Evidence-Based Health Promotion Strategies.
Strong Communication And Interpersonal Skills, With The Ability To Effectively Engage Diverse Populations.
Familiarity With Program Planning, Implementation, And Evaluation Processes.
