  1. Oversee the day-to-day operations and maintenance of Emory University's campus facilities.
  2. Create and implement plans to ensure a safe, functional, and aesthetically pleasing campus environment for students, faculty, and staff.
  3. Conduct regular inspections and assessments of facilities to identify and address any maintenance or safety issues.
  4. Manage and coordinate repairs, renovations, and construction projects in collaboration with various departments and external vendors.
  5. Develop and maintain a preventive maintenance program to ensure all facilities are in optimal working condition.
  6. Monitor and manage the budget for campus facility operations, including tracking expenses and identifying cost-saving opportunities.
  7. Collaborate with Campus Services team members to provide exceptional customer service and address any facility-related concerns or requests.
  8. Stay updated on industry trends and best practices in facilities management to continuously improve operations and services.
  9. Ensure compliance with all relevant safety and environmental regulations.
  10. Train and supervise a team of facilities staff to maintain high standards of cleanliness and functionality across campus.
  11. Foster a culture of inclusivity and diversity within the facilities team and promote a welcoming and supportive environment for all members of the Emory community.
  12. Communicate regularly with university leadership to provide updates on facilities operations and recommend improvements or solutions for any challenges.
  13. Maintain accurate records and documentation related to facilities operations, including maintenance schedules, work orders, and inventory.
  14. Collaborate with external agencies and vendors to procure necessary materials and services for facilities management.
  15. Adhere to Emory University's mission and values, promoting a positive and inclusive atmosphere for all members of the university community.

Job Qualifications
  • Bachelor's Degree In Facilities Management, Engineering, Or A Related Field.

  • Minimum Of 3 Years Experience In Facilities Management, Preferably In A Campus Or Institutional Setting.

  • Understanding Of Building Codes, Safety Regulations, And Environmental Health Standards.

  • Excellent Communication And Problem-Solving Skills.

  • Proficient In Computer Programs And Systems Related To Facilities Management, Such As Cmms And Cad Software.
