- Conduct epidemiological studies to identify and track patterns of disease in local and global populations
- Analyze and interpret complex data sets to identify risk factors and potential interventions
- Communicate findings and recommendations to various stakeholders, including researchers, healthcare professionals, and the general public
- Collaborate with interdisciplinary teams to design and implement public health interventions and programs
- Monitor and report on disease outbreaks and trends, providing timely and accurate information to inform public health responses
- Stay updated on current public health issues and research developments, applying this knowledge to inform decision-making and program development
- Develop and maintain strong partnerships with local, state, and national health agencies and organizations
- Contribute to the development and dissemination of research findings through publications, presentations, and other avenues
- Mentor and supervise junior epidemiologists and research staff, providing guidance and support as needed
- Comply with all ethical and regulatory standards in conducting research and data collection.
Master's Degree Or Higher In Epidemiology, Public Health, Or Related Field
Minimum Of 2 Years Of Experience Conducting Epidemiological Research And Data Analysis
Knowledge Of Statistical Software And Data Management Methods
Experience In Designing And Implementing Epidemiological Studies, Including Study Protocol Development And Irb Submissions
Strong Communication Skills And Ability To Effectively Present Findings To Diverse Audiences, Both Verbally And In Written Form
