- Oversee and coordinate all aspects of assigned clinical research projects, including recruitment, enrollment, data collection, and study procedures.
- Act as the primary point of contact for study participants, providing them with information and support throughout the research process.
- Ensure compliance with study protocols, regulatory requirements, and ethical standards.
- Collaborate with research team members, including investigators, physicians, and other healthcare professionals, to facilitate smooth and efficient study conduct.
- Maintain accurate and detailed records of participant data, study progress, and any adverse events or protocol deviations.
- Assist with the preparation and submission of regulatory documents, such as IRB applications and amendments.
- Schedule and coordinate study visits, procedures, and follow-up appointments with participants and healthcare providers.
- Collect and process study samples, including blood, tissue, and imaging data.
- Monitor and manage study budgets, tracking expenses and ensuring timely payment to vendors and participants.
- Communicate regularly with study sponsors and research partners, providing updates on study progress and addressing any concerns or issues that arise.
- Participate in ongoing training and education to maintain knowledge of current research practices and regulations.
- Contribute to the development and implementation of quality improvement initiatives to enhance the efficiency and effectiveness of clinical research processes.
- Adhere to all institutional and departmental policies and procedures, as well as applicable laws and regulations.
- Represent the research team and Emory University in a professional and ethical manner at all times.
Bachelor's Degree In A Relevant Field Such As Biology, Chemistry, Or Healthcare Administration.
Excellent Organizational And Communication Skills, With The Ability To Work Independently And As Part Of A Team.
Prior Experience Working In A Clinical Research Setting, Preferably In A Radiology Or Imaging Sciences Department.
Knowledge Of Federal Regulations And Guidelines For Conducting Clinical Trials, Including Fda Regulations And Good Clinical Practice (Gcp) Guidelines.
Willingness To Learn New Techniques And Procedures, And Ability To Adapt To Changing Research Protocols And Priorities.
