
Associate Director, Rule of Law Program

- Develop and implement strategic plans to promote the rule of law program at Emory University.
- Collaborate with faculty, staff, and external partners to design and manage research projects and initiatives.
- Oversee the day-to-day operations of the rule of law program, including budget management, scheduling, and reporting.
- Conduct outreach and networking activities to enhance the program's visibility and impact.
- Support and mentor staff and students involved in the program, providing guidance and feedback to ensure their professional development.
- Monitor and evaluate the program's effectiveness and make recommendations for improvement.
- Stay informed about current events and developments in the field of rule of law and human rights to inform program activities.
- Serve as a key spokesperson for the program, representing it at conferences, events, and other public forums.
- Develop and maintain relationships with donors, securing funding to support program initiatives and activities.
- Maintain compliance with all relevant laws, regulations, and university policies.
- Foster a positive and inclusive work environment that values diversity and promotes teamwork.
- Participate in university and community events and initiatives to promote the program and its mission.
Juris Doctor (J.d.) Degree From An Accredited Law School
Minimum Of 5 Years Of Experience In The Field Of Rule Of Law, Preferably In An Academic Or Research Setting
Strong Understanding Of International And Domestic Legal Systems And Their Impact On Democratic Governance
Excellent Research, Writing, And Communication Skills, With A Proven Track Record Of Publications And Presentations
Experience In Managing And Coordinating Complex Projects, Including Budgeting, Grant Writing, And Team Leadership
