  1. Develop and implement a comprehensive fundraising strategy to support the growth and development of clinical programs at Emory University.
  2. Identify and cultivate relationships with potential donors, including individuals, corporations, foundations, and other organizations, to secure major gifts and sponsorships.
  3. Collaborate with colleagues across the university to identify opportunities for philanthropy and establish partnerships with key stakeholders in the healthcare industry.
  4. Plan and execute fundraising events and campaigns to engage donors and raise awareness for clinical programs at Emory University.
  5. Monitor and evaluate the progress of fundraising efforts, track donations, and provide regular reports to senior leadership.
  6. Work closely with the Director of Development for Clinical Programs to align fundraising goals with the university's overall strategic plan.
  7. Act as a liaison between donors and clinical program leaders, ensuring that their philanthropic goals are aligned with the university's mission and values.
  8. Cultivate and maintain positive relationships with current and potential donors to foster long-term partnerships and secure future funding.
  9. Provide guidance and support to junior development staff members, including mentoring and training opportunities.
  10. Stay informed about industry trends and best practices in fundraising, particularly in the healthcare sector, to continually improve and innovate our fundraising strategies.

Job Qualifications
  • Advanced Degree In A Relevant Field Such As Healthcare Administration, Public Health, Or Business Administration.

  • Minimum Of 5 Years Of Experience In Fundraising And Development, Preferably In A Clinical Or Healthcare Setting.

  • Strong Understanding Of Clinical Programs And The Ability To Communicate Complex Medical Concepts And Research To Potential Donors.

  • Demonstrated Success In Building And Maintaining Relationships With High-Level Donors And Stakeholders.

  • Excellent Project Management Skills And The Ability To Oversee Multiple Fundraising Initiatives Simultaneously.
