Job Description

We are looking for an experienced and passionate Associate Director of Development for Clinical Programs to join Emory University and serve as a key member of our Development team. This is an exciting opportunity for an individual with proven fundraising and leadership abilities to make an impact and help shape the future of our university. We seek someone with exceptional interpersonal and communication skills who is able to positively and effectively interact with a wide variety of stakeholders.The successful candidate must have a minimum of five years of fundraising experience, preferably in an academic setting. Bachelor’s degree required, with a Master’s degree preferred. The individual must demonstrate a comprehensive understanding of clinical programs and have a proven track record in developing and implementing successful strategies to engage alumni, foundations, and other potential donors. Proven ability to establish and maintain relationships with key donors and prospects is essential. The applicant should also possess excellent written and verbal communication skills, with the ability to effectively communicate complex ideas to a variety of audiences. The ideal candidate should be an energetic, organized, and creative self-starter who can work independently, as well as collaboratively, in a fast-paced and changing environment. A commitment to Emory’s mission and core values is essential.
