Collaborate with key stakeholders, including government officials, community organizations, and faculty members, to advance the university's public policy initiatives related to mental health. 3. Stay up-to-date on current mental health policies, trends, and issues, and use this knowledge to inform program development and advocacy efforts. 4. Develop and maintain relationships with external partners and stakeholders to support the university's mental health programs and initiatives. 5. Research and analyze data to identify gaps and opportunities in the mental health field and use findings to inform program development and advocacy efforts. 6. Communicate and advocate for the university's mental health programs and initiatives to internal and external audiences through various platforms, including presentations, publications, and social media. 7. Provide leadership and guidance to a team of mental health professionals, including hiring, training, and evaluating staff. 8. Collaborate with other departments and organizations within the university to integrate mental health programming and services into various initiatives and events. 9. Develop and manage budgets for mental health programs and ensure resources are allocated effectively to achieve desired outcomes. 10. Serve as a subject matter expert on mental health policies and initiatives, both internally and externally, and represent the university at conferences, meetings, and other events related to mental health.

Job Qualifications
  • Advanced Degree In Mental Health Policy Or Related Field (E.g. Public Health, Social Work, Psychology)

  • Minimum Of 5 Years Experience In Mental Health Program Development And Management

  • Strong Understanding Of Public Policy And Advocacy Related To Mental Health

  • Demonstrated Experience In Grant Writing And Securing Funding For Mental Health Programs

  • Excellent Communication And Interpersonal Skills, With The Ability To Collaborate With Diverse Stakeholders And Build Partnerships Within The Community.
