- Develop and implement strategic recruitment plans to attract a diverse pool of qualified applicants to Emory University.
- Identify and cultivate relationships with high schools, community-based organizations, and other recruitment partners to increase awareness of Emory and its programs.
- Review and evaluate applications to make admission decisions in accordance with university policies and standards.
- Conduct presentations and information sessions to prospective students and families.
- Collaborate with various departments and faculty members to coordinate recruitment events and initiatives.
- Provide excellent customer service to prospective students and families by promptly responding to inquiries and providing accurate information.
- Develop and maintain a comprehensive understanding of Emory's academic programs, campus culture, and admissions policies.
- Stay updated on current trends and best practices in admissions and higher education.
- Manage a team of admissions counselors and provide guidance and support in their recruitment efforts.
- Attend college fairs, high school visits, and other recruitment events to represent Emory University and build relationships with prospective students.
- Participate in the selection and training of student ambassadors to assist with recruitment events and campus tours.
- Assist with the development of marketing materials and social media campaigns to promote Emory's programs and admissions process.
- Collaborate with financial aid office to ensure prospective students have access to necessary information and resources.
- Prepare reports and analyze data to track recruitment efforts and identify areas for improvement.
- Uphold the university's commitment to diversity and inclusivity in all aspects of the admissions process.
Bachelor's Degree In A Relevant Field Such As Education, Communications, Or Marketing.
Minimum Of 3-5 Years Of Experience In College Admissions, Preferably At A Selective Institution.
Strong Communication And Interpersonal Skills, With The Ability To Effectively Represent The University To A Diverse Range Of Stakeholders.
Demonstrated Leadership Experience, Including Managing A Team And Coordinating Admissions Events.
Knowledge Of Current Trends In Higher Education And Admissions, As Well As Familiarity With The Application Process For Both Domestic And International Students.
