Previous Animal Care Experience: The Ideal Candidate Should Have At Least 1-2 Years Of Experience Working With Animals In A Professional Setting Such As A Veterinary Clinic, Animal Shelter, Or Research Facility. This Experience Will Demonstrate A Strong Understanding Of Animal Care Practices And Protocols.
Knowledge Of Animal Behavior And Physiology: A Strong Understanding Of Animal Behavior And Physiology Is Essential For This Role. Candidates Should Have A Basic Knowledge Of Animal Anatomy, Common Behaviors, And How To Recognize Signs Of Distress Or Illness.
