  1. Provide high-quality, evidence-based care to patients in the emergency department during the nocturnal shift.
  2. Collaborate with physicians, nurses, and other healthcare professionals to develop and implement treatment plans for patients.
  3. Conduct comprehensive assessments, order and interpret diagnostic tests, and prescribe medications in accordance with established protocols and guidelines.
  4. Maintain accurate and timely documentation of patient care, including progress notes, procedures, and treatment plans.
  5. Demonstrate advanced clinical skills and knowledge in the field of emergency medicine, including proficiency in performing procedures such as intubation, central line placement, and chest tube insertion.
  6. Serve as a role model and resource for nursing and medical staff, providing guidance and support in the delivery of patient care.
  7. Participate in ongoing education and training activities to maintain and enhance clinical skills and knowledge.
  8. Contribute to research and quality improvement initiatives within the emergency department.
  9. Adhere to all ethical and professional standards and guidelines, including maintaining patient confidentiality and respecting patient autonomy.
  10. Maintain a positive and collaborative working relationship with colleagues and other members of the healthcare team.
  11. Adhere to all organizational policies and procedures, including those related to safety and infection control.
  12. Continuously evaluate and improve the quality of care provided to patients, identifying areas for improvement and implementing changes as needed.
  13. Actively participate in departmental and institutional meetings, committees, and projects as assigned.
  14. Stay current with advancements and best practices in emergency medicine, incorporating new knowledge into practice as appropriate.
  15. Demonstrate a commitment to promoting diversity, equity, and inclusion in the workplace.

Job Qualifications
  • Master's Degree Or Higher In Nursing Or Physician Assistant Studies From An Accredited Program.

  • Current And Unrestricted License To Practice As A Nurse Practitioner Or Physician Assistant In The State Of Georgia.

  • Certification As An Emergency Nurse Practitioner (Enp), Family Nurse Practitioner (Fnp), Or Physician Assistant (Pa) By A Nationally Recognized Organization.

  • Minimum Of 2 Years Of Experience Working In Emergency Medicine Or A Related Field.

  • Ability To Work Overnight Shifts And Demonstrate Proficiency In Providing High-Quality Care In A Fast-Paced And Unpredictable Environment.
