- Provide technical expertise and support to faculty, staff, and students in the use of technology for teaching and learning.
- Stay up-to-date on emerging technologies and identify opportunities for their integration into the curriculum.
- Collaborate with faculty to develop and implement innovative technology-based teaching strategies.
- Conduct training sessions and workshops to educate faculty, staff, and students on the effective use of technology in the classroom.
- Troubleshoot technical issues and provide timely resolutions to ensure smooth functioning of technology in academic settings.
- Develop and maintain instructional technology resources, including online tutorials and guides.
- Participate in the evaluation and selection of new technologies for academic use.
- Serve as a liaison between faculty, staff, and the IT department to ensure effective communication and coordination.
- Monitor and assess the effectiveness of technology integration in teaching and learning and provide recommendations for improvement.
- Contribute to the development and implementation of policies and procedures related to academic technology.
- Collaborate with other members of the academic technology team to ensure consistency and alignment with overall department goals and strategies.
- Maintain a high level of customer service and professionalism in all interactions with stakeholders.
- Contribute to the overall mission and goals of the Emory College of Arts and Sciences at Emory University.
Master's Degree In Educational Technology, Instructional Design, Or Related Field.
Minimum Of 3-5 Years Of Experience In A Similar Role, Preferably In A Higher Education Setting.
Proficiency In A Variety Of Educational Technology Tools And Platforms, Such As Learning Management Systems, Multimedia Software, And Instructional Design Software.
Strong Project Management Skills, With The Ability To Handle Multiple Projects And Deadlines Simultaneously.
Excellent Communication And Interpersonal Skills, With The Ability To Collaborate With Faculty, Staff, And Students To Support Their Technology Needs And Promote Effective Use Of Technology In Teaching And Learning.
