- Provide comprehensive wound care to patients of all ages, utilizing specialized skills and expertise.
- Demonstrate a compassionate and caring attitude towards patients and their families.
- Utilize evidence-based practices and stay updated on the latest advancements in wound care.
- Educate patients and their families on wound care management and prevention.
- Collaborate with other healthcare professionals to develop individualized treatment plans for patients.
- Monitor and assess wound healing progress, and make necessary adjustments to treatment plans.
- Administer medications and treatments as prescribed by physicians.
- Ensure accurate and timely documentation of patient care in electronic medical records.
- Adhere to infection control protocols to maintain a safe and clean environment for patients.
- Participate in continuous education and training to maintain and improve wound care skills.
- Serve as a resource and mentor to other healthcare team members.
- Maintain confidentiality and uphold ethical standards in all aspects of patient care.
- Uphold Emory Healthcare's mission and values in all interactions with patients, families, and colleagues.
- Adhere to all hospital policies and procedures.

Active Rn License In The State Of Georgia
Minimum Of 2 Years Of Experience In Wound Care Nursing
Certification In Wound Care Nursing From A Recognized Organization, Such As Wound, Ostomy And Continence Nursing Certification Board (Wocncb) Or National Alliance Of Wound Care And Ostomy (Nawco)
Proficiency In Advanced Wound Care Techniques, Including Debridement, Dressing Changes, And Wound Assessment
Knowledge Of Evidence-Based Wound Care Practices And Ability To Develop And Implement Individualized Treatment Plans For Patients
