We are currently seeking a Transplant Financial Counselor to join our compassionate team and provide financial counseling to our transplant patients and their families.The ideal candidate for this role will have experience in the medical field, as well as excellent communication and customer service skills. The Transplant Financial Counselor will need to be sensitive to the unique financial challenges that transplant patients and their families often face.We are looking for an individual who is dedicated to providing the best possible patient care, and who is willing to go the extra mile to ensure our patients feel supported throughout their transplant experience. Responsibilities:

Provide financial counseling to transplant patients and their families.
Utilize excellent communication and customer service skills to ensure patient satisfaction.
Be sensitive to the financial challenges of transplant patients and their families.
Maintain detailed records of all financial counseling sessions.
Be knowledgeable about the different types of financial assistance available for transplant patients.
Utilize problem-solving skills to identify potential solutions for patients experiencing financial hardship.
Educate patients and their families on the financial implications of transplant surgery.
Collaborate with other healthcare professionals to ensure the best possible patient care.
Monitor patient progress and provide ongoing support throughout their transplant experience.
Follow all relevant regulations and guidelines in accordance with Emory Healthcare policies.
