  1. Assist surgeons during surgical procedures in the Ortho and Spine department.
  2. Ensure the safety and comfort of patients during surgical procedures.
  3. Prepare operating rooms and surgical equipment for procedures.
  4. Set up and maintain sterile field throughout the surgical procedure.
  5. Anticipate and fulfill surgeon's needs during procedures.
  6. Monitor and maintain inventory of surgical supplies and equipment.
  7. Collaborate with other healthcare team members to provide high-quality patient care.
  8. Adhere to all safety and infection control protocols.
  9. Communicate effectively with patients, families, and healthcare team members.
  10. Document all procedures accurately and in a timely manner.
  11. Maintain knowledge of current surgical techniques and equipment.
  12. Participate in training programs and continuing education to stay updated on industry developments.
  13. Ensure compliance with all regulatory and accreditation standards.
  14. Maintain a professional and compassionate demeanor at all times.
  15. Flexibility to work varying shifts and take on-call responsibilities as needed.
  16. Demonstrate a strong work ethic and dedication to providing exceptional patient care.

Job Qualifications
  • Certification: The Ideal Candidate Should Possess A Current Certification As A Surgical Technician From An Accredited Institution Or Program. This Ensures That The Candidate Has Received Proper Training And Education In The Field.

  • Ortho And Spine Experience: Previous Experience Working In An Orthopedic And Spine Surgery Setting Is Highly Preferred. This Includes Familiarity With Various Orthopedic And Spine Procedures, Instruments, And Equipment.

  • Flexibility: As A Prn Position, The Candidate Must Be Willing And Able To Work On An As-Needed Basis, Including Evenings, Weekends, And Holidays. This Requires A High Level Of Flexibility And Adaptability.

  • Attention To Detail: Surgical Technicians Are Responsible For Preparing And Maintaining The Surgical Environment, Ensuring All Necessary Instruments And Supplies Are Available, And Assisting The Surgical Team During Procedures. Attention To Detail Is Crucial To Ensure The Safety And Success Of Each Surgery.
