1. Provide expert surgical oncology care: The primary responsibility of the Surgical Oncology Registered Nurse is to provide specialized and comprehensive care to patients undergoing surgical procedures for cancer treatment. This includes pre-op, intra-op, and post-op care, as well as monitoring and managing patient responses to treatment.
2. Collaborate with interdisciplinary team: The Surgical Oncology RN will work closely with surgeons, oncologists, anesthesiologists, and other healthcare professionals to develop and implement individualized treatment plans for patients.
