  1. Maintain cleanliness and sterilization standards in surgical and patient care areas.
  2. Follow established procedures for cleaning and sterilizing surgical instruments and equipment.
  3. Ensure all equipment and instruments are in proper working condition and report any issues.
  4. Properly handle and dispose of biohazardous materials.
  5. Prepare and maintain sterilization records and logs.
  6. Communicate effectively with team members and other healthcare professionals.

  12. Assist with training and onboarding of new Sterile Processing Technicians.
  13. Follow all regulatory and accreditation requirements.

  15. Demonstrate a strong work ethic and commitment to quality in all aspects of the job.

Job Qualifications
  • Certification As A Certified Registered Central Service Technician (Crcst) Or Certified Sterile Processing And Distribution Technician (Cspdt).

  • Completion Of An Accredited Sterile Processing Technician Program Or Equivalent Training.

  • Minimum Of 1-2 Years Experience In A Sterile Processing Or Surgical Technician Role, Preferably In A Hospital Or Healthcare Setting.

  • Knowledge Of Infection Control And Sterilization Principles, As Well As Regulatory Standards And Guidelines (Such As Aami And Aorn).

  • Strong Attention To Detail, Organization Skills, And Ability To Work In A Fast-Paced, Team-Oriented Environment.
