  • Accurately and efficiently process patient specimens in accordance with laboratory procedures and protocols
  • Maintain a high level of attention to detail to ensure accuracy and quality of specimens
  • Collaborate with laboratory staff to ensure timely and effective processing of specimens
  • Follow all safety protocols and maintain a clean and organized work environment
  • Communicate effectively with healthcare professionals and laboratory staff to provide updates and address any issues or concerns

Job Qualifications
  • High School Diploma Or Equivalent: A Minimum Educational Requirement For This Position Would Be A High School Diploma Or Equivalent. This Ensures That The Candidate Has A Basic Understanding Of Math, Science, And Communication Skills.

  • Certified Phlebotomy Technician (Cpt) Or Medical Laboratory Assistant (Mla) Certification: This Certification Ensures That The Candidate Has Received Proper Training And Has The Necessary Skills To Collect And Process Specimens Safely And Accurately.

  • Prior Experience In Specimen Processing: Having Prior Experience In Specimen Processing, Preferably In A Healthcare Setting, Would Be A Strong Qualification For This Job. This Would Demonstrate The Candidate's Knowledge Of Laboratory Procedures, Safety Protocols, And Equipment Used In Specimen Processing.

  • Attention To Detail And Accuracy: As A Specimen Processing Technician, It Is Crucial To Have A Keen Eye For Detail And Maintain A High Level Of Accuracy When Handling And Processing Specimens. This Ensures The Integrity Of The Specimens And Avoids Any Errors Or Contamination.
