
Specimen Processing Technician

- Accurately and efficiently process patient specimens in accordance with laboratory procedures and protocols
- Maintain a high level of attention to detail to ensure accuracy and quality of specimens

High School Diploma Or Equivalent: A Minimum Educational Requirement For This Position Would Be A High School Diploma Or Equivalent. This Ensures That The Candidate Has A Basic Understanding Of Math, Science, And Communication Skills.
Certified Phlebotomy Technician (Cpt) Or Medical Laboratory Assistant (Mla) Certification: This Certification Ensures That The Candidate Has Received Proper Training And Has The Necessary Skills To Collect And Process Specimens Safely And Accurately.
Prior Experience In Specimen Processing: Having Prior Experience In Specimen Processing, Preferably In A Healthcare Setting, Would Be A Strong Qualification For This Job. This Would Demonstrate The Candidate's Knowledge Of Laboratory Procedures, Safety Protocols, And Equipment Used In Specimen Processing.
