  1. Accurately and efficiently process patient samples for analysis in the laboratory.
  2. Ensure that all samples are handled and processed in a timely manner to maintain a smooth workflow.
  3. Conduct quality control checks to ensure accuracy and precision of results.
  4. Adhere to all safety and infection control protocols while handling and processing specimens.
  5. Maintain accurate records of all specimens processed, including labeling and tracking information.
  6. Communicate effectively with laboratory staff and healthcare providers to ensure proper handling and processing of samples.
  7. Troubleshoot and problem-solve any issues that may arise during specimen processing.
  8. Assist in maintaining inventory and ordering necessary supplies for the laboratory.
  9. Maintain a clean and organized work area to ensure a safe and efficient work environment.
  10. Provide excellent customer service to patients and healthcare providers by accurately and promptly answering any questions or concerns related to specimen processing.
  11. Attend and participate in all required training and meetings to stay current on laboratory procedures and protocols.
  12. Keep up-to-date with industry trends and advancements in specimen processing techniques.
  13. Collaborate with other laboratory staff to ensure the accurate and timely completion of all tasks.
  14. Adhere to all HIPAA regulations and maintain patient confidentiality at all times.
  15. Perform any other duties or tasks as assigned by the laboratory supervisor or manager.

Job Qualifications
  • High School Diploma Or Equivalent Education

  • Completion Of A Certified Phlebotomy Training Program

  • Previous Experience In A Clinical Laboratory Setting Preferred
