Specialty Director, Perioperative Services

Responsibilities:

1. Lead and manage perioperative services in a manner that meets or exceeds patient and organizational expectations.
2. Ensure compliance with all applicable regulatory requirements.
3. Develop and implement quality improvement initiatives to enhance patient care and outcomes.
4. Develop and maintain positive working relationships with staff, physicians, and other healthcare providers.
5. Monitor and evaluate performance of perioperative services and identify areas of improvement.
6. Provide direction, motivation, and mentorship to perioperative staff.
7. Develop, implement, and monitor budgets related to perioperative services.
8. Monitor and analyze patient satisfaction surveys and other data to inform decisions concerning perioperative services.
9. Liaise with other healthcare teams as needed to ensure the smooth delivery of patient care.
10. Ensure that all perioperative staff are properly trained and updated on the latest industry and safety standards.
