
Simulation Technician
At Emory Healthcare, we are seeking a Simulation Technician who is passionate about working with medical technology to advance healthcare. The Simulation Technician will be responsible for the setup, operation, and troubleshooting of high-fidelity patient simulators and other simulation equipment for healthcare education in the Emory Healthcare Simulation Center. The ideal candidate for this role must have an Associate's Degree in a science-related field and a minimum of two years of experience in a healthcare-related field. We are looking for someone who is a self-starter, has excellent communication and organizational skills, and is able to work in a fast-paced environment. If you have a strong technical background and a commitment to providing excellent patient care, this is the job for you!
Responsibilities:
- Set up and operate high-fidelity patient simulators and other simulation equipment for healthcare education in the Emory Healthcare Simulation Center.
- Troubleshoot and repair any technical issues with the simulation equipment.
- Ensure proper functioning of the simulation equipment.
- Provide technical support and training for faculty, staff, and students.
- Stay up-to-date on the latest industry trends and technologies related to healthcare simulation.
- Develop and implement strategies to optimize the use of simulation equipment.
- Maintain accurate records and documentation regarding the simulation equipment.
- Collaborate with other members of the simulation team to ensure effective operations.
- Participate in quality assurance and performance improvement initiatives.
- Ensure compliance with safety and regulatory standards.
