  1. Develop and implement strategic plans for the Heart & Vascular department in alignment with the overall goals and objectives of Emory Healthcare.
  2. Oversee the day-to-day operations of the clinical services within the department, including staffing, budgeting, and resource management.
  3. Monitor and evaluate the quality of patient care and ensure compliance with all regulatory standards and policies.
  4. Implement and maintain efficient processes and procedures to optimize clinical operations and improve patient outcomes.
  5. Collaborate with physicians, nurses, and other healthcare professionals to ensure effective communication and coordination of care.
  6. Identify areas for improvement and implement quality improvement initiatives to enhance the delivery of clinical services.
  7. Act as a liaison between the Heart & Vascular department and other departments within Emory Healthcare to foster collaboration and ensure smooth operations.
  8. Provide leadership, guidance, and support to the clinical staff, encouraging a culture of excellence, teamwork, and professional growth.
  9. Stay updated on industry trends and advancements in cardiac care to continuously improve and innovate the department's services.
  10. Represent the Heart & Vascular department in meetings and committees, both within Emory Healthcare and externally as needed.

Job Qualifications
  • Advanced Degree In Healthcare Administration Or Related Field: The Ideal Candidate For This Position Would Possess An Advanced Degree In Healthcare Administration Or A Related Field, Demonstrating A Strong Understanding Of The Complexities Of Managing Clinical Services And Operations In A Large Healthcare System.

  • Extensive Experience In Cardiovascular Services: A Successful Senior Manager In This Role Would Have At Least 7-10 Years Of Experience In Overseeing Cardiovascular Services, Including Clinical Operations, Patient Care, And Staff Management. This Experience Should Also Include A Strong Track Record Of Improving Efficiency And Quality Outcomes In A Fast-Paced Environment.

  • Leadership And Team Management Skills: The Senior Manager Will Be Responsible For Overseeing A Team Of Clinical And Administrative Staff, So Strong Leadership And Team Management Skills Are Essential. This Includes The Ability To Motivate And Mentor Staff, Delegate Effectively, And Foster A Collaborative And Supportive Work Environment.

  • Financial Management And Budgeting Experience: This Role Requires A Strong Understanding Of Financial Management And Budgeting, With The Ability To Develop And Manage Budgets For Clinical Services And Operations. The Ideal Candidate Should Have Experience With Financial Forecasting, Cost Analysis, And Revenue Optimization.

  • Knowledge Of Regulatory And Compliance Standards: As A Senior Manager In A Healthcare Setting, Knowledge Of Regulatory And Compliance Standards Is Crucial. The Candidate Should Have A Strong Understanding Of Relevant Laws, Regulations, And Accreditation Standards Related To Clinical Services And Operations, Including Hipaa, Osha, And Cms Guidelines.
