
Senior Employee Relations Business Partner, HR Advice & Counsel Center

In this role, you will serve as a trusted advisor and advocate for our employees, providing guidance and support on a variety of employee relations issues. Your expertise and leadership will be critical in fostering a positive and productive workplace culture. - Serve as a primary point of contact and advisor for employees and managers on all employee relations matters, including but not limited to performance management, conflict resolution, and workplace investigations.
- Provide expert guidance and consultation to managers and leaders on complex employee relations issues, ensuring compliance with company policies, procedures, and applicable laws and regulations.
- Develop and implement proactive strategies to promote a positive and inclusive workplace culture, including training and development programs for managers and employees.
- Conduct thorough and impartial investigations into employee relations concerns, ensuring timely and effective resolution and maintaining confidentiality throughout the process.
- Partner with HR colleagues and business leaders to identify trends and potential areas of risk, and develop and implement solutions to mitigate those risks.
- Advise on and facilitate the resolution of employee conflicts and disputes through mediation, coaching, and other conflict resolution techniques.
- Collaborate with legal partners as needed to ensure compliance and mitigate legal risk in all employee relations matters.
- Maintain accurate and thorough documentation of all employee relations cases, ensuring confidentiality and adherence to legal and regulatory requirements.
- Serve as a subject matter expert and resource for other HR team members, providing training and support as needed.
- Continuously stay abreast of industry trends and best practices in employee relations, and make recommendations for process and policy improvements to enhance the overall employee experience.
Extensive Knowledge And Understanding Of Employment Laws: A Senior Employee Relations Business Partner Must Possess A Deep Understanding Of Federal And State Employment Laws, Including But Not Limited To, Title Vii, Ada, Fmla, And Flsa. This Knowledge Is Crucial In Providing Accurate And Effective Advice To Both Employees And Management.
Strong Experience In Employee Relations: The Ideal Candidate For This Role Should Have A Minimum Of 7 Years Of Experience In Employee Relations, Preferably In A Healthcare Setting. They Should Have A Proven Track Record Of Successfully Handling Complex Employee Relations Issues And Investigations.
Excellent Communication And Interpersonal Skills: As A Senior Employee Relations Business Partner, This Individual Will Be Responsible For Providing Advice And Counsel To Employees And Leaders At All Levels Of The Organization. Therefore, Exceptional Communication And Interpersonal Skills Are Critical For Building Relationships And Effectively Addressing Sensitive Issues.
Strategic Thinking And Problem-Solving Abilities: This Role Requires Someone Who Can Think Strategically And Proactively To Anticipate Potential Employee Relations Issues And Develop Solutions. The Ability To Analyze Complex Situations And Make Sound Decisions Is Crucial In This Role.
Strong Ethics And Confidentiality: Employee Relations Issues Often Involve Sensitive And Confidential Information, So A Senior Employee Relations Business Partner Must Have A Strong Ethical Compass And Maintain Strict Confidentiality. They Should Also Have The Ability To Handle Difficult And Sensitive Conversations With Tact And Professionalism.
