
RN, Radiation Therapy
At Emory Healthcare, we are seeking a passionate and dedicated Radiation Therapy Registered Nurse (RN) to join our team. We are looking for a highly motivated individual who is eager to provide compassionate, patient-centric care within our Radiation Therapy Unit. The ideal candidate for this role will have extensive experience in radiation oncology and a deep commitment to delivering the highest quality of care.In this role, you will provide comprehensive nursing care for patients receiving radiation treatments. You will be responsible for monitoring, assessing, and educating patients throughout the radiation treatment process. You will also collaborate with the healthcare team in order to develop and implement patient-centered care plans.The successful applicant must have a current Registered Nurse (RN) license, a Bachelor's degree in Nursing or a related field, and a minimum of two years experience in radiation oncology nursing. Additionally, the ideal candidate will have strong communication and interpersonal skills, excellent organizational abilities, and a compassionate and patient-centered approach to care.
Responsibilities:
- Provide comprehensive nursing care to patients undergoing radiation treatments.
- Monitor, assess, and educate patients throughout the radiation treatment process.
- Develop and implement patient-centered care plans in collaboration with the healthcare team.
- Maintain current Registered Nurse (RN) license.
- Remain up-to-date on latest treatments, protocols, and safety standards.
- Ensure accuracy of patient records and documentation.
- Provide emotional support and guidance to patients and their families.
- Respond to patient inquiries and concerns in a timely and professional manner.
- Participate in continuing education courses and other professional development activities to stay abreast of changes in healthcare.
- Adhere to all organizational policies, procedures, and regulations.
Current Rn License In The State Of Georgia
