  1. Provide compassionate and high-quality respiratory care to patients in accordance with established protocols and standards.
  2. Perform diagnostic and therapeutic procedures, such as oxygen therapy, chest physiotherapy, and nebulization treatments, under the supervision of a licensed respiratory therapist.
  3. Monitor and evaluate patient response to treatments and make adjustments as needed.
  4. Maintain accurate and detailed patient records, including progress notes, treatment plans, and equipment maintenance logs.
  5. Collaborate with the respiratory care team to develop and implement individualized treatment plans for patients.
  6. Educate patients and their families on respiratory disease management and home care techniques.
  7. Adhere to infection control and safety protocols to ensure the well-being of patients and staff.
  8. Keep up-to-date with new developments and technologies in respiratory therapy and participate in ongoing training and professional development opportunities.
  9. Assist with equipment maintenance and troubleshooting to ensure safe and effective functioning.
  10. Foster a positive and welcoming environment for patients and their families by providing exceptional customer service and addressing any concerns or questions.
  11. Comply with all legal and ethical standards related to patient care and confidentiality.
  12. Maintain a clean and organized work environment, including restocking and ordering supplies as needed.
  13. Communicate effectively and professionally with healthcare team members, patients, and their families.

Job Qualifications
  • Associate's Degree In Respiratory Therapy Or A Related Field

  • Current Certification As A Registered Respiratory Therapist (Rrt) From The National Board For Respiratory Care (Nbrc)

  • Minimum Of 1-2 Years Of Experience In A Clinical Setting, Preferably In A Hospital Setting

  • Knowledge Of And Ability To Operate Respiratory Therapy Equipment And Devices

  • Strong Communication And Interpersonal Skills, With The Ability To Work Effectively In A Team Environment And With Patients Of All Ages And Backgrounds.
