
Registered Nurse, Wound and Ostomy Care
The Registered Nurse – Wound and Ostomy Care at Emory Healthcare is responsible for providing the highest quality of patient care in a fast-paced, dynamic environment. We are looking for a highly motivated individual with excellent communication skills and a strong commitment to patient advocacy. The successful candidate should possess a current nursing license, a minimum of two years of experience in wound and ostomy care nursing, and a passion for excellence in patient care. The Registered Nurse – Wound and Ostomy Care will be part of a team of nurses working together to provide comprehensive care to patients with wounds and ostomies. Responsibilities:
- Provide high quality patient care in a fast-paced, dynamic environment.
- Communicate effectively with patients and other healthcare professionals.
- Advocate for patient care needs and ensure best practices in wound and ostomy care.
- Maintain current nursing license and stay up to date on current clinical practices related to wound and ostomy care.
- Collaborate with a team of nurses to provide comprehensive care to patients with wounds and ostomies.
- Monitor patient progress and provide updates to the multidisciplinary team.
- Assess patient needs and develop individualized care plans.
- Educate patients and family members about wound and ostomy care, including proper wound and ostomy management.
- Document patient information and progress in accordance with hospital policies and procedures.
- Ensure compliance with regulatory standards and guidelines.
Bachelor's Degree In Nursing
Ability To Work In A Fast-Paced Environment
Excellent Interpersonal And Communication Skills
Current Registered Nurse (Rn) License In The State Of Georgia
Advanced Cardiac Life Support (Acls) Certification
Certified Wound
